As far as I can tell, each mission takes about a day to appear. I think the first two I had on the same day and the rest have been every other day. I will see if another story mission appears later tonight.

I completed 3/5 and for this next one, I can't bring the mission down to 8 hours. Every other class, according to my guild, seems to be able to do that.

To bring it down I need a follower with blizzard and from what I can tell, we don't get one until after we complete this quest. So, it seems that the last 2 would be 16hrs each.

If anyone knows of a way to bring them down, let me know.

I got up this morning and didn't have the third mission available. I closed the mission window, walked away for about 5 seconds, came back, and I had the third mission ready.

I'm stuck in 4/5, the last mission just refuses to show up in my scouting table. It's been two days already. Just saw a post on the offical forum, a monk experiencing has the same problem.

Completing these via the new companion app doesn't give you credit toward the quest. :/

the fact that you need a champion with minion swarm counter for all of these, and you dont get the first one until AFTER THIS QUEST, is kinda poor planning on their part.

Sooo... I did 4/5 of these missions in one day, it has now been 3 days and the 5th mission will not show up. Has anyone found out how to fix this?

So the quest starts with Archmage Kalec inside a *HIDDEN* room way up in one of the towers of The Violet Citadel in Dalaran, NOT in your order hall where you will ALSO find Kalec... You can use a portal next to Khadgar at the bottom of the stairs in The Violet Citadel to teleport up or you can simply fly up on your mount, either way when you get up on to the balcony you must to click on the door to open it... this has literally taken me days to figure out i hope it helps someone else save some time - and ripping out their hair like me!

So I finished the 4 first missions of this quest but the 5th just won't show up. I am stuck since two days. I just opened a ticket to see if anything can be done as it was for some already in here, according to the comments.

Shadowlands Update:
This is the last quest you can do in your class hall until Level 45. The next quest will not be available while leveling your alts.

Description

Archmage Vargoth seems to be mixed up in something dangerous, not that that's unusual for an archmage of his caliber and experience! The Arcway Vaults may be where he's headed, but we should investigate all leads in order to get a better idea of what he's up to.
