I was checking to see how much exp would be lost if you skipped the introductory quests in Legion. In Warlords of Draenor, I was never bothered by doing the Tanaan introductory scenario because it was easily half a level and the quests were relatively quick and painless. (30-60m max)

In Legion, after you complete the introduction once, you can subsequently skip it, but I wanted to see how much exp was lost.

Quests 1-5 don't even give experience and the introduction took me roughly 45 minutes with the beta bugs and knowing exactly what to do. At this time, I'd recommend skipping on subsequent characters based on exp/hour.

As a note, it appears that these quests don't even reward experience, so I'm not sure if that's a bug or not.

1) The Legion Returns <- Option to skip presented here
2) To Be Prepared (I believe you can turn this in and still skip.)
3) The Battle for Broken Shore (Forced into a group for a scenario minimal exp -- 20-30 minute scenario)
4) Fate of the Horde
5) Emissary
6) Demons Among Us (group kill exp, if swarmed) (15k exp)
7) Keep Your Friends Close (3750 exp)
8) In the Blink of an Eye (You skip to the turn in of this quest)

As much as Sylvanas has done a lot of horrible things, Vol'jin was right to name her Warchief.

The Horde needs to stay focused on the Legion for it, and Azeroth, to stand a chance - and if there is one thing Sylvanas does better than anyone else, it is singleminded revenge.

She is not the Warchief the Horde deserves, but right now she is the one it needs.

Let us hope she does not end up the way Garrosh did.

I will not lie I cried during this vol'jin has always been one of my favorite characters and to see him this badly broken and wounded hit me like a fel reaver back in bc. then to see Sylvanas come in soft spoken and humble in his presence declared warchief and told that he sees good in her makes me excited for what will become of her, I hope she lasts long as warchief or goes out a hero because while she has done acts that would be seen as evil she did them to protect and save her people from garosh and the alliance. here's to warchief windrunner and vol'jin's memory.

And so voljin, perhaps the mightiest darkspear shadow hunter to ever live passes on from this world.

A greedy part of me wants him to come back as a loa spirit, as I think trolls can ascend to loa-dom, but I wish him happiness, not eternal servitude answering shaman/shadowhunter prayers forever bound to some pseudo life.

You always did what was right and not what was easy. A savage troll with more moral fortitude than many of us can claim in real life. May you find happiness and contentment in the afterlife that you earned Voljin.

From the Alliance viewpoint, the Horde retreated from the battle, without giving any notice to the Alliance. The commanding Horde failed to keep abreast of the battle, and to keep their allied partners informed of their battle decisions.

As a result of the Horde retreating, the Alliance were abandoned in battle without any time to coordinate a mutual retreat.

If the Horde and Alliance were ONE ARMY working together, they would have communicated a MUTUAL retreat.

But instead, Sylvanas ordered the retreat WITHOUT giving any heads up to the Alliance, and the King died.

This is truly an act of cowardice. I will not Pledge to Warchief Sylvanas because I will not allow a coward to control my fate. A Horde is only as good as his word. I chose NOT to follow her into the portal. I chose NOT to betray those whom I gave my word. She is the Warchief, but I do not give her my pledge to follow her. I fight independently for the same cause, but not under her leadership.

Interesting oversight: In the Grommash Hold scene, there are two Eitrigg NPCs, one is Eitrigg, which is normally in Grommash Hold, the other is one specifically for that scene, who when you talk to him tells you that "now is not the time".

Also, Ji Firepaw and the Huojin Pandaren don't attend Vol'jin's cremation.

For anyone interested in being alone for whatever reason, you can avoid handing this quest in and still have access to Dalaran in Legion and be phased from the rest of your server throughout the entire city of Orgrimmar.

I simply skipped the intro and then picked the quest up again in the Voilet Citadel, played the scenario and then held onto the quest which keeps me in a phased Orgrimmar all to myself.
