The caches cannot be looted in combat and are only lootable by one player before disappearing. Make sure you don't get sniped by another player when clearing mobs to get one of these.

The respawn time seems to be 1 hour after they were looted.

It seems there are 4 areas:

--Skytop Observatory - 1 chest seems to spawn in this area
--Dragonheart Outpost - 3 chests seem to spawn in this area
--Dragonbane Keep East - 3 chests seem to spawn in this area
--Dragonbane Keep West - 3 chests seem to spawn in this area

I say "seem" because I cannot 100% confirm this information, but these are the patterns I have noticed after hours of farming.

Currently my engineering knowledge points are assigned:
40 point Optimized Efficiency
9 points Generalist
5 points Explosives
40 points Function over Form
13 points Utility
20 points Gear
30 points Gears for Gear
40 points Mechanical Mind

I received the engineering recipes (Projectile Propulsion Pinion) after looting around 150 chests.

Do these show up on the minimap for outlaw rogues using their find treasures skill?

Edit: Just tested and they do in fact show up on the minimap with Find Treasures active, maybe itll help anyone with a Rogue looking for them :D

Can anyone advise on an efficient way to find these cache? It's the last recipe i need but needing a 1 min buff with 10min cd to see seems kinda daunting, especially when some folks took 200+ tries to actually get it.

These do not share a spawn location with Djaradin Supply Jar. Both can spawn at the above locations that were posted.

I absolutely hate this. Spent over two hours, looted 12 caches, no recipe. Just looking for ONE engineering recipe.

Can you loot plate cosmetic items on a class that isn't plate?

So I farmed these for the Engineering recipe Schematic: Projectile Propulsion Pinion, here is all I learned:

It took me about 100 caches until the recipe finally dropped.

The Loot:
Guaranteed in every cache:
x15 – x50 Dragon Isles Supplies
x1 Flightstones
x1 – x3 Dragon Isles Artifact
x1 – x3 Titan Relic
Trash items

rare items I got from the cache:
1x Cosmetic Transmog Item (maybe worth to note that my character was able to learn the item)
1x Treasure Map
2x Dragon Shard of Knowledge
1x Glimmering Neltharite Cluster
1x Glimmering Ysemerald Cluster

The Djaradin Cache

After a player loots the cache, the cache stays there for about 1 minute and 30 seconds before it despawns, during that time multiple other players can still loot the cache.
The cache cannot be looted during combat.
The respawn time seems to be around 1 hour after the cache is looted.

Other thoughts and tips:

Djaradin Supply Jars spawn in similar locations, however they do not spawn on the exact same places, so you dont have to worry about them.
I recommend to download TomTom and Paste addons, then copy all coords from the top comment on this page and put it into the Paste addon. The caches spawn exactly on those places.
Use Anomaly Detection Mark I often, you should have this spell in your Spell Book in General tab, you can get this trough Dragonscale Expedition reputation and their "talent" system. Best time to use this is probably when you check Dragonbane Keep for caches because of the annoying In Their Sights that can get you dismount when the Keep is under the control of the Djaradin.
In Dragonbane Keep, there is one cache that spawns on the lower floor inside of the biggest building, the area is only accessible at the end or after the Siege on Dragonbane Keep event.
During my time farming the caches, I have not noticed any specific spawn pattern that would help me speed up the farm. I always just started at the top of the map in Scalecracker Keep and then I just checked every possible spawn point from the top to the bottom of the map > vendor grey items > took nearest flight path to the top > log off for a while > repeat.

About the recipe:

Remember that the recipe Schematic: Projectile Propulsion Pinion is Binds when picked up (BoP).
To be able to loot the recipe you dont need anything special like having points in specific specialization, likely not even maximum engineering skill, this is just a myth created by players because of how rare the recipe is.
