Seems to be impossible to solo. Bring at least one healer since she'll often cast an ice-prison on whoever has aggro which deals ~3000 frost damage and stun the target.

I have solo it on my Tankadin. I had lots of bandages, used a healing potion, bubble :P. Hammer of Justice + bandaging was nice. Lay on Hands on standby and holy light myself. It was great. Just have to be focused. (On not dying =/)

two maned by two mages, got her down on the 2nd try, I died (fire mage) which is obviosly, and my mate maniged to take her down, actually the elemental got the kill blow. we used almost every cooldown but got her down, used pots and mana gem too. so that you know, if your a mage you can reflect the stun she casts, i don't know if he is immune to deep freeze, but he is immune to most slow effect except the frost armor debuff. she is not immune to blast wave pushback either.

Solo'd as a 80 Affliction Warlock. Used my void to tank it and watched agro very closely with Omen. Soul shattered once and was able to kill it. Took 7 minutes, the first 5 of which were spent basically healing the void while it built threat enough for soul shatter to be useful.

Tips for soloing as a Death Knight. I'm blood spec/frost spec. (which I affectionately call the "D" spec :P) with a link here, for reference

D Hunter On a side note I'd high reccomend it for various encounters, and only one or two of the groups quests in Wotlk aren't possible using this spec, as I've found out. Just my opinion

When approaching her start off with some sort of buff food, like Succulent Orca Stew, and any applicable Storm Peak drinks that give you effects. Additionally make sure you have Frost Presence on. The usual mantra of Icy Touch, Plague Strike and Heart Strike should be applied, and in that order. After this rotation of attacks you should have either procced a Rune Strike or have enough for a Death Coil, which I'd use to buy you time and damage while waiting for her strike you. Once your down about 1.5 or 2k health use your Death Strike.

Hopefully, if your like me, you've got 26% or so crit and can expect to get some nice heals off this. In the future expect to have no wait time after your Death Strike, just dish it out. If your lucky, and solid with your strikes you can barely fit in 2 Death Strikes before your diseases expire. After they do just reapply.

Make sure to not overuse Heart Strike, even though it's powerful as hell, just save that extra rune for emergency healing(Mark of Blood/Rune Tap). You'll notice by the 4th or so Death Strike you aren't making enough health returns to compensate, at this point use your Rune Tap, and you should have made up most of your max health. After a few more Death Strike rotations you'll have started to hurt from her freeze maneuver. I couldn't see a cast timer for it so honestly there's no real way to know when to use Anti-Magic shield but my best guess would be between 18-25 seconds after her most recent one. Good use of Icebound Fortitude when your either at half health or hurting on cooldowns couldn't hurt.

Hopefully you've saved up the Medallion of Heroism by now, consider that a replacement when Rune Tap is on cooldown or your short on Blood Runes (too many Heart Strikes/Mark of Blood).

I defeated her without ever dropping below 65% or so and I did not use Empower Rune Weapon/Vampiric Blood or a potion, although these would have helped. I don't believe she would be possible as a Frost or Unholy heavy spec, but I could be wrong.

Seconding, easy as an Enhancement Shaman. Threw off a Heroism and Used Spirit Wolves. She iceblocked once, which was taken by one of my spirit wolves. I didn't use the Howl skill, but it wouldn't hurt if you want to keep aggro on them and not yourself. Used Maelstroms to heal myself. Easy as cake.

I just solo'd this on my prot warrior. You *CAN* spell reflect her ice tomb although timing it is pretty much luck. With heroic, badge, crafted, and some 10 man tanking gear you should be able to kill her without too much problem.

they took her the rest of the way down with ease, and taunted so i had a chance to heal up while she ice tombed them down.

Solo'ed as 19/51/0 lock with simple quest reward gear, quite easy with Felguard + Health Funnel and Corruption + Curse of Agony. Just be carephul with aggro, used Soulshatter once.
To avoid that annoying freeze, just step back as much as your spellcast range allows.

Soloed as a marksman hunter after 5-6 attempts. Incredibly difficult with the freeze, but it's possible if you manage to soak up all the freezes instead of letting your pet be hit by it. 'Course, this requires a bit of luck or timing, but it's very much possible.

Bring potions or alike to heal yourself as a hunter btw. She hurts quite a bit.

Soloed as unholy/blood death knight (29/5/37, specced to tank). Went in tank gear and frost presence, walked in using Bone Shield, dropped an anti magic zone to soak a freeze or two, used army of the dead for fun and it wound up soaking two of the freezes, blood strike, death strike, and rune tap for the win.

soloed as a level 80 Prot Warrior. 25k unbuffed.. just remember to use spell reflect and if lucky she will use ice shriek, while you got spell reflect up. also remember to use enraged regeneration. then you should be able to solo her. i had 8k hp left when she died. (did use sheild wall, maybe retaliation would be nice, too)

Solo'd as 79 Unholy dk, used IF and BS whenever they were up, my health floated around 50% for most of the fight but was never in any real danger of dying. Pretty easy if you throw on a bit of tank gear and use frost presence. Imp rune tap also helps quite a bit, but surviving is possible with only death strike.

Solo'd as a 80 BM hunter. Set Gorilla to stay on opposite site of the peak, MD'd to him and used mend pet. Nuked like crazy til pet was about to die, Distracting shot, mend pet, pet on passive and kited for a few seconds til pet's HP got to full, FD. Rinse and repeat... Might be useful to whack a scorpid sting on her aswell but it's quite easy without. All these people who did her before level 80, I tip my hat to you all, she hits like a truck!

Never had to put on tank gear or frost presence. Had pet out, AoD, DG to bring her to the swarm. Dropped AMZ at the start to keep up as many ghouls as possible for as long as possible. Went into standard rotation IT->PS->SS->BS->BS repeat. When AoD were all dead popped AMS, at which point she was at 30k HP. Had to DS once, but honestly I don't think I even needed to just did it for security. Never went below 18k HP.

Was wearing heroic/naxx dps gear.

Rough solo as a balance druid. The way I handled it was blow her up REALLY hard, and then when you get low, toss out your treants and if you are NE (which I am) shadowmeld to drop aggro and heal yourself up. Then barkskin + finish her, it took me a couple procs off crits.

Two manned as an 80 protection Warrior in blues, and a 79 51/12/7 Rogue.

Used Tricks of the Trade and Feint to keep aggro on him while I blew up the harpy, who flies in circles around the peak by the way, you'll have to get to the edge and pull her.

Finished with both of us at 70% after around 30 seconds.

Considering there's a throwing weapon with +def as quest reward it might be interesting to know that it's actually possible to solo as prot warrior. I had blue gear and some epic ilvl200 items. Drank a pot, used shield wall and last stand
+ enraged regeneration and left the fight with 20% hp. Use stuns & Shield Reflect to avoid as much dmg as possible.

I soloed this as a 80 resto shaman, but mind you I am very geared. However, didn't have to pot, but did blow my fire elemental and heroism. Even so I had one close call; Would be advisable to atleast bring 1 healer and any other friend, or at least be prepared to blow a lot of cool downs.

Yes i am a restro shamana tryied but failed respeced elemental and did it really easy i am 80 with all naxx gear i set wraith of air and the elemental specail totem forgot it's name and mana spring and just healed most of the time and did fire shock/lava burst combo and chain lighting and finally got her down :] ( i was in all healing gear)

I soloed this as a 80 Blood spec DK. Gear consists of Crafted epics and normal dungeon/AH blues. I started out fairly slowly by applying diseases and abusing death strike. Did that till she was at about 70% at which point i had dropped below 50% hp. I then used Army of Dead and ghoul and healed up with a pot and bandage. With the army of dead ghouls now topping aggro i simply burned her down using my normal dps rotation.

In retrospect i didn't really need the ghoul. I probably could have started with army of the dead and burned her down quicker.

Solo'd with a 80 prot pally in part epics, no special cooldowns or extras... ended up at 4k hp. The ice block is definitely a pain... I used a rotation of Judge-Light and Judge-Wisdom, kept block up as much as I could.

Soloed as an 80 prot warrior with 25k unbuffed health. Thought I was dead after a rough start, but eventually started deflecting the ice trap which was hitting for a couple thousand each time. Used last stand, two trinkets for blocking and armor and regeneration. Left with less than 3k hp before I got her down.

Solo'd as a level 80 feral druid. Specc'd and geared for kitteh dps, but tanked in bear form. Had to buff up with food and elixir, pop ALL my cooldowns and still I had to use a health pot. Had to Bash and pop out to heal myself a couple of times. Took 2 tries to get her down, the first time was really really close, same as the second, only the second time I got it done.

Ridiculously easy as level 80 resto (14-0-57) druid in pretty crappy gear (I had 1584 spell power with buffs when I killed her, 1721 in tree form). I have 3 points in Brambles instead of Nature's Grace, which probably accounts for a large majority of my damage.

I just stack Regrowth, Rejuvenation, and 1 Lifebloom, then rotate Starfire > Wrath > Moonfire, Starfire > Wrath > Wrath > Moonfire, refreshing HoTs as needed. Go into tree form when mana gets low, and stop casting DPS spells. Easy.

Keeping HoTs up makes her ice block thing nothing more than a nuisance, and then only because it interrupts your spell casting.

Extremely difficult as 79 Feral Druid, Hybrid spec. I'm geared mostly in northrend dungeon / quest blues and an epic trinket from TBC, ~28k armor / 24k hp in bear form with tank gear. Had to use all cool downs including bash and heal, survival instincts, frenzied regen, lifeblood, heal pot, etc. and ended fight with 700hp. Took 4 tries.

Worst part is she knows when you are trying to heal and she'll ice block you every time. Get off a healing touch and hot and thats about it, and you MUST change back to bear or she'll hit you hard enough that it won't matter while in humanoid form. Good luck.

I won't be all 'solo'd as X spec with XX/XX/XX, used cooldown A and B and left the fight with C HP left' but I will give some tips for any paladins that want to try this.
As a retribution paladin, I found the best approach was to outlast her. Blessing of Might or Kings works well and I used Seal of Light so I would have a large chunk of HP returning to me. Keep Sacred Shield up and hit Flash of Light when the Art of war is up as well as sacred shield for a high chance critical instant heal. If you get stunned, just heal up after the ice around you vanishes. Judge light as well for even more HP regen and you should do it quite easy.

This fight was acutally pretty simple.
I'm a heroic geared protection warrior (not further then DTK) with about 25k hp.
Just some random tips: Keep Shield Reflect on whenever its up. Also make good use of the stuns. (we have 3 now, yeah)
Kind of at the start I already used Shield Wall. I used the recovery spell but that wasn't really needed though.

Still easier to solo then most group qsts in Outlands back in those level 70s.

Easily solo'd on first attempt as 79 BM-specced Draenei Hunter - no epic gear or anything, just quest-reward junk. The only thing of noteworth is a "Glyph of Mending", which increases Mend Pet effect +40%. Don't try without one - that would be extremely hard or impossible.

She does heavy damage and has a sh*tload of HP, but other than that it's fairly straight forward. I just kept Mend Pet going all the time, and although my pet's HP got low on several occassions it was not a problem. Had to switch on mana regen aspect to refill mana at some point, but other than that used Dragonhawk aspect and when possible BW for extra damage.

Soloed as an 80 enhancment shammy, Very simple just pop wolfes and heroism as soon as u agro her and pop there taunt as often as possible and dps her down with everything uve got, the wolfs healing should easily keep you alive, Didnt even need to use shammy rage for the -dmg

I died the first time I attempted to solo her. Got her to about 40% and had to use Death Pack, but I still died.

Next time, I buffed up, brought out my Army of Dead and didn't take any damage from her. My ghoul took some, but most of the damage was taken by the Army. Unholy spec btw, so I used SS as much as I could (BS gives death runes which helped me put in an extra SS) and DC'd her when runes were down. I love DK's...

Soloed as a 80 arcane mage on PVP gear.

Some tips:

- She is stunable
- Immune to slows
- She dosent move that fast, you can run and blink to avoid many hits
- Mirror images will draw aggro as they should. She hits pretty slowly and will be bouncing between you and images, so they will last for a while
- Hits for aroung 1.8k physical. She will sometimes hit whit a frost attack for around 2k. If you manage to time your ward you can absorb most if not all these hits.
- The ice prison thing can be fully resisted

Soloed just now as a level 80 demon lock. I kept a few dots up but mainly healed my felhunter and drained health. Wasn't hard- didn't use any potions or buffs (other than demon armor). Also- "escape artist" (racial) makes the frost traps go away.

Sidenote- when she died, she fell off the mountain and I wasn't able to loot her (actually I fell to my death trying) so try not to kill her super close to the edge.

Enhance shammy (80) prevails as usual. Totems, spirit wolves, Gift of Naaru, and heroism...With wolves taunt never fell below 90% health. I was picking up her teeth outta the snow 30 secs or so after pull : ) Not even a close fight...Obvi, just use all cd's and enjoy the massacre my fellow shammys. Grouping up for multiplayer (group) quests are a joke with this class.

Solo'd as a 80 ARMS warrior, ilvl 200 gear equipped.

22k HP, 4000 AP self buffed, 27 % Crit in Battle with Mace Spec.

Started off with Heroic Throw, Charged + Retal + Rend + MS + OP + Bladestorm. After Bladestorm was over, I used Enraged Regeneration and finished her off.

I was never frozen, though I am human so racial would have taken care of it.

Her frost attack crit me for 3100, I believe.

I had about 5k hp left.

Soloed as a 79 Unholy Deathknight, at my second try.

actually all i did was keeping up my ghoul for the entire fight (she sometimes freezes him instead of you), using death strike every time i had runes and starting with bone shield up and cooldown finished.

just keep your disease up (Glyph of pestilence helps a lot, if you intend to solo her), use a potion if needed, and keep death pact until you go very low.

white damage, diseases and death strike was about 70% of my total damage. DO NOT waste runes in anything that is not death strike, or pestilence-blood strike to generate death runes.

also anti-magic shell helped me a bit, just because i was lucky.

Absolutely no problem soloing her as a Naxx-geared blood DK, in tank spec and gear. I actually only got off two little helpers from Army of the Dead at the beginning, due to the iceblock. But she was cake, honestly.

I am blood dk dps specced. She was an easy solo pop Army of Undead and you should be golden. I was also in frost presence. Lvl 80 udluar geared dk.

Let me reiterate the value of frost resistance gear. I found her straightforward to solo as an 80 prot warrior, even though I got ice trapped three times from mistiming my spell reflects. I resisted thousands of damage during the fight simply by equipping my three Icebane crafted epic FR pieces (two of them not even gemmed).

Easily solo'd as a prot paladin in meagre gear (22K HP, 21K armour) - frost aura up, JoL, SoW - i used the PVP trinket to break the first ice tomb - but then realised i only took 3K dmg from it, so just burned her down - never went below 90% health and mana. Shame none of the rewards are usable

took me 3 tries. first i was looking for her and was surprised.
next time i got her to 2% when i died. last try was ok.
this is a tough fight, but very fun. i think ill try that more :)
ihave 1 stun, so dont know about more stuns i could do ? ( 1 minute cd...)
flash heals when AW procs, bubble, freedom things, every man selfish, and some greater heals when bubbeled. for me the key was good healing. someone suggested judge light and that could be a good strategy. i needed loads of mana so i took some other way ;P

soloed as a 80 rogue. use your ranged weapon to get aggro and then try to stun as much as possible. ended the fight with 50% hp left, pretty easy considering rogues and elite bosses.

Solo'ed as a 79 Blood Dk.

She cast Ice Prison which stuns you for 4secs and deals bout 3k dmg.

Did it with Frost Presence and Ghoul on.

The reason for the Ghoul is that she casts Ice Prison on your ghoul instead of casting it on you.

Didn't drop any cooldowns just that ghoul :D

No potions or bandages during fight.

Killed her as a level 78 hunter, could have been done by a level 77 or even a level 76.

I used a bear pet since it got more hp. Glyph of meinding is a must, it raised my healing from 700 to 1.1k, she is a tough one, and in order to kill her, as i did, you must use mending every second cast, be sure that ur pet got aggro (misdirection), etc.

Not that hard. Hope it helped :)

soloed as a 77 balance druid. Popped all my CDs and kept lifebloom and rejuve up at all times and used regrowth when she got me down to ~60% health. I attacked then casted lifrbloom so attack>lifebloom>attack>lifebloom and so on.

Soloed as a level 78 Fire Mage on the second attempt.

Popped Mirror Images to start with, and then just nuked. Ended the fight with 200 HP left. Impact is a life saver.

Died as a 79 hunter, very close, so I went off to do other quests, and then randomly it said I had completed the quest... I don't know why, unless the damage I did to her counted when someone else came and finished the kill.

If you happen upon Sirana Iceshriek as a Horde player, there is no quest associated with her, so no reputation, and other than experience from the kill, the drops aren't worth the trouble. IMHO, drive on by.

How come her Ice Shriek inflicts about 18.5k damage that it takes away around 88% of my Level 77 toon's health? I'm afraid that she needs to be dealt with by a Level 110.

Managed to do this with 2 people using Touch of the Void and anything else that has summons or pets as she tends to target anything that has some aggro on her. Burned all cooldowns and managed to burn her down. Me on Windwalker Monk and a Rogue did it. I hope this helps someone to wack her.
