Azeroth model being a trol is the most asinine thing ever. Like whos idea was this lmfao
I want it to be a troll that would be amazing lore cut, but we all know damn well Activision doesn't have the foresight to do something that fitting
*repeated comment due to bug*
I don't believe that Azeroth is anything but a Titan. The end of Amirdrassil has odd wording in regards to the Aspects being blessed by Azeroth and not the Titans. My interpretation of Alexstrasza’s words is that they serving Azeroth the Titan, not the Titan Pantheon and their beliefs. Azeroth may be a Titan, but she is not bound by the practices of the Pantheon. The War of the Scaleborne book very much had Vyranoth opposed to order magic, vehemently against it as she believed that the Titans were just puppet masters trying to turn Dragons to do their bidding. They have an agenda, one that none of them (and us really) were really aware of. For Vyranoth to be empowered by Azeroth and not be ordered into a Dragon, it’s showing that Azeroth has a different agenda than the Titan Pantheon. It’s important to the story that Azeroth didn’t use Order Magic on Vyranoth and change her. I don’t fully believe Azeroth and the Pantheon will see eye to eye if we see the Pantheon again. Bringing the Pantheon back again would also bring back Illidan and Sargeras so we have a lot of potential ways this particular story should go.
I love that in the video no one ever said Azeroth would be a troll. They have many different models of what she might look like as a titan and whether she would 'hatch' form the planet, or stay the planet or just kind of appear outside of it. You can tell who only looked at a picture then rushed to comments.Watch the whole thing or don't comment. Every question posted here was addressed in it.Also: If you call a World Soul a nascent Titan, you're not wrong. However, it isn't a Titan. It has the ability to become one. It could also be a creature of void or life (like Elune) or death even. The Titans WANT it to become a Titan like them. It's like an excited father who is a pro baseball player saying "This is going to be an allstar baseball player" when talking about their child. And that isn't "The Titans are evil now". They just see being Ordered as 'good'. Same as all cosmic forces see their own structure as 'the best'.
They literally stole that whole idea from Marvel, lol. Watch the entire saga be the plot of Eternals.
Azeroth is not a Titan. Neither is Argus. They're world souls. The Last Titan will be Illidan, as he replaced Sargeras in the Pantheon.** just my wishfull thinking :D **
More like "who cares"
Tali and Evi should find something else to do. Boycot because they are bullies and arrogant.
Personally I'm for Azeroth is "FIRST ONE to be born" theory.I started to think that (by myself - without reading or hearing any theories or info suggesting it) when there was mention of other "ZERETHs" after Jailer was defeated. At that point it did look like at very least Void, Order, Chaos AND Shadowlands are trying to shift it into one of their own.Right now there are Naaru (Light) around, but also in-game mention of LIFE being infused into very First World Tree. That means ALL known fundamental powers of WoW universe have/had significant presence on Azeroth. Now most important questions are:- Was Azeroth always First One OR was it given that potential by all powers trying to convert it?- What EXACTLY is ELUNE ? - at this point was at very least 4 aspects to her: Light, Shadow, Life and Death. (potentialy even Order as there are some hints of her cooperating with Titans) - Is she servant of First Ones helping to birth of new one OR even failed First One, because not ALL powers were present at HER birth so now she try to help younger sister reaching that full potential by allowing ALL to affect Azeroth, BUT not allowing anyone to WIN completely.
Not to spoil anyone's suspense... If the Titans really lied to us about World Souls being unborn titans, wouldn't that make all three of the Warcraft: Chronicle books no longer canon, since they are written from the perspective of the Titans? (Which includes that fancy cosmology map that everyone loves so much, btw). Are we really speculating on the destruction of the entire established lore, as if Blizz will suddenly go, "Gotcha!"?
maybe we're going after all the titans in the first 2 expacs and then there's only one left to kill in the last titan and azeroth just stays how it is
