Would a text-only guide suffice? Good for pleasure reading. :D The tabs make it hard to do that hehe.
This post was from a user who has deleted their account.
I play an assassination rogue as my main and it's always 'I'm mut' for shorthand. I should make it be not shorthand for this :)Also ditto about the tabs vs non tabs--after a lot of early feedback, I changed the texty format (see bank alt guide) to one more with tabs. Some people don't realize the other tabs have info, others think pure text is too long.
That is an odd thing. I'm used to Mut rogues as well. I think it's because if you aren't a Mut rogue you're an Ass rogue.
Why should questing be anything else?Questing is a means to an end. You can enjoy it even when it goes fast, and you can do things like level while getting loremaster if you want some sort of a grind. The people who want questing to be tough would be somewhat irritated if you had to walk 30 miles to a tough job instead of driving because driving was 'a joke', wouldn't they.
Imho, it was never hard. I've played through vanilla to 60. It wasn't hard, just stupidly long. They just shortened the amount of exp to lvl and quests give out more exp so you can literally fly through zones bashing kobolds in the face with a rock and lvl up. A lot of the fun stuff is at 85 but you can still have fun questing because it has a lot of fun stuff to do.
the one mechanic i wish the left in was weapon lvling nothing funnier than lvling bare hands so when your disarmed you can still hit
Lovely guide, but I would recommend one small amendment in the quest section.Never discourage players from doing Green quests. They grant full experience and are usually easier to do, allowing more quests done per hour.
Has anyone else noticed that the heirloom gear name tags ingame are considered common items instead of heirloom gold... just saying.
My favorite part about leveling an alt since cata-IM GONNA PUNCH THAT DRAGON IN THE FACE!(If you don't get this, then go quest in Badlands some and come back.)edit:Also,
Awesome guide as always.
Stupid Zin'rokh. *grumble grumble*
You missed one of the absolute fastest ways to level.Rare mob camping.1. Find a rare mob that spawns close to an inn. Even better, find a zone that has two rare mobs close together and close to an inn2. Log out in the inn... once or twice a day, run to the rare mobs, kill them and run back to the inn.If you are at full rested exp, you will FLY through the levels doing this, and almost every zone has at least 1 or 2 that are very close to an inn.
