These missions do not have a bonus roll, so there's no reason to go above 100% success chance.

This is one of three Challenge Missions. They are Elite missions that take 3 days to complete, and each should be visible for 3 days before they expire. They can run longer if you get the Slowing mission threat, but you can shorten it if you have equipment or champions that can reduce mission duration. If I can't complete all 3 challenge missions, I try to plan it out so that the mission(s) I start have a mission duration reduction, then send them on the 2nd mission before it expires.

The three missions are:

Elite Strike: Lost Temple: Rewards Champion's Trophy
Elite Strike: Legion Supply Cache: Rewards 500 Legionfall War Supplies
Elite Strike: The Sentinax: Rewards 7500 Nethershard

These missions are available every time the command center is build, it's not based on the rotating 4th perk.

I don't see anyone mention it so here goes - you can complete those elite missions more than once while building is up. It won't respawn immediately after completion, it can take hours for mission to repop, but it will repop, can be 2 hours, can be 5+ hours. Also note that mission won't disappear from the list even after building is destroyed. So this leads to main conclusion - with enough mission time reduction gear on your followers it's entirely possible to do one specific mission up to 3 times, if you can reduce mission duration to about 1 day 8 hours instead of 3 days.
I personally aim for supplies mission, as AP one is like drop in bucket for those later traits.

I used to always do this mission as you could turn in these Legion Supplies and get 5 chests. These chests would have a chance to drop a legendary (pretty good chance as I got several this way).

However with 9.3 you no longer get chests, just AP rewards. So I stopped doing this mission.

The Command Center on Broken Isles must be active for you to see this mission. You must also complete these quests: The Command Center and Boon of the Command Center to see this mission on your mission table (PS - there is a mission table INSIDE The Command Center so you don't need to run back to your class hall).
