During the Glowcap Festival Mini-Holiday in Sporeggar.
Fshoo will periodically spawn at the center of the town and become harder to heal over time due to Fshoo Grow Grow. Loot the special mushrooms Sack of Healing Spores, Sporeggium, Fungal Lifestalk, and Rimecap to heal him up!
You can also turn in Glowcap to buy these items from the quartermaster.

When he does die, you will be awarded Sporeggar Rep. For every stack of Fshoo Grow present at the time of Fshoo's death, you will be awarded 50 reputation. This is a great way to grind reputation and reach Exalted quickly.

Glowcap Festival allows players to help keep Fshoo alive in Sporeggar to earn reputation.

Head to Sporeggar in Zangarmarsh to take part in this holiday.
Mushrooms will spawn around the town, giving you Glowcap and other helpful items:

Sack of Healing Spores - Channeled heal for Fshoo.
Sporeggium - 2% healing buff per stack. Stacks to 100 times.
Rimecap - Stop all damage and growth for 3 seconds, allowing healers to catch up.
Fungal Lifestalk - Instant 5% heal for Fshoo.

You can purchase all four of the items above from Mycah, the Sporeggar Quartermaster.
You can also loot a Pungent Truffle, allowing you to transform into a sporeling for 24 hours.
Fshoo spawns periodically, gaining stacks of Fshoo Grow. Each stack increases Fshoo's size by 1% and health by 100%.
Fshoo also loses health at a constant rate, making it harder and harder to heal as the grow stacks appear.
The objective is to use the items to help you heal in order to keep Fshoo alive as long as possible.
When Fshoo dies it will give everyone 50 Sporeggar reputation for every stack of the buff it had.

The Glowcap Festival takes place on May 27 at Sporeggar in Zangarmarsh, Outland. You'll see a red cross at the location on the Outland & Zangarmarsh maps.

What's the point of it?
- Well, It really comprises a healing minigame (for all classes, not just healers!) that allows for some easy farming of Sporeggar reputation.
- For those already exalted it's worth noting that, while the festival is in progress Glowcaps around the village often drop multiple Glowcap, making it easy to buy up any reputation items you don't yet have from Mycah, including Tiny Sporebat.
- And best of all, Pungent Truffle allows you to turn into a sporeling for 24 hours!

How does it work?
There are some other great posts on here that explain how the mechanics of the healing game work nicely. But to break down what you'll want to do:
- First, gather a few Glowcap and use them to buy a good few Sack of Healing Spores from the Quatermaster, Mycah. They are just 1 Glowcap each.
- Then gather some Sporeggium, Rimecap and Fungal Lifestalk from around Sporeggar. You don't need to go far and the respawn is pretty rapid. Just run around the village.
(You can also buy these items from Mycah but they are easy to farm, so it's probably quicker to do that than farm Glowcap to buy them, your choice though.)
- You'll also find Pungent Truffles around the village too. Before you're exalted they drop Pungent Truffle but once you've maxed the rep they give Pungent Truffle, to get your sporeling style on!

The healing part.
- Periodically Fshoo spawns in the middle of the village (happens quite often). It needs healing to stay alive, so use your items to heal away! (If you're a healer of any kind, you can use your own heals too. Bandages don't seem to work though).
- Basic tactics: pop a Sporeggium and then chain channel Sack of Healing Spores. When the health gets a bit low use Rimecap and Fungal Lifestalk to help out.
- Fshoo will die eventually but the object is to keep it alive as long as possible as over time it stacks Fshoo Grow. You can see the stack number as a buff on it.
- You'll get 50 rep for each stack of Fshoo Grow when Fshoo finally dies.

And that's about it, enjoy the Sporeling life!

Fshoo will stop gaining stacks when it reaches 255 stacks. Keeping it alive any longer will not gain you any extra reputation. Non humans will get 12750 rep when it reaches max stacks.

I'm totally baffled as to WHY some people are camping mushroom spawn points the way they do eggs during Noblegarden. Ah well -- it doesn't matter, as each mushroom (including glowcaps) can be gathered by at least two people each time it spawns. It's easy as can be to run around and gather up enough to help heal Fshoo once she spawns. And yes, according to the Sporeggar, she's a she. If I'm not mistaken, that's accurate to real-life mushrooms: females produce reproductive spores. Like it matters in a game like WoW, lol. Have fun, mushroom protecters!

Once exalted with Sporeggar, the mushrooms that dropped Pungent Truffle will drop Pungent Truffle instead. The buff lasts 24 hours,

This has to be the worst event I am aware of. The rewards? Garbage. Blizzard could do better. It's just pointless.

Nice to be back in Zangarmarsh. Do enable the music!
Skip the low level quests. No special strategies are needed to quickly become exalted with the Sporeggar during the Glowcap Festival World Event. It will probably be crowded and pretty spontaneous.

A few suggestions:

Pick up all glowing mushrooms in the village area. Most have healing or protective properties. Mouseover for images and properties:
Sporeggium, Rimecap, Fungal Lifestalk.
Target Fshoo and click on mushrooms in your inventory (or dragged to your action bar) to help keep Fshoo alive. Fshoo is a giant globe shaped mushroom on a thin stalk that spawns in the center of the village. He doesn't resemble the small normal Glowcaps.
Just heal if you're a healer or maybe grab a Sporeggium to enhance healing.
Pungent Truffle will add Sporeggar rep. This is a spotted burgundy mushroom.
Pick up as many Glowcaps as possible. They are easy to spot because they project an orange/yellow beam like a floodlight. Glowcaps are your currency to buy things from the Sporeggar Quarter Master Mycah. During the festival each Glowcap stalk in the village has extra yield - about 4 Glowcaps. Glowcaps also spawn in and outside the village during the rest of the year.
Mycah's position is marked with a yellow dot on the mini-map. He's outside during this festival and a vivid purple.

Mycah also lets you exchange Glowcaps for healing mushrooms during the Glowcap Festival. Decide whether it’s better to save your Glowcaps for goods.

You’ll know you’ve reached exalted status with the Sporeggar when you see the The Czar of Sporeggar achievement on your screen.

The achievements The Diplomat/The Diplomat and the title "Diplomat" are obtained by reaching exalted with the Sporeggar, Kurenai and Timbermaw Hold.
